Distributing Straw Choppers and Forage Harvester throughout Italy
HIMAC distributes machinery used by the agricultural world and by breeders which include straw choppers and forage harvesters. These machines can help in chopping up straw bales and distributing them in the fields, but can also be used for other purposes. They are able to work bales of any size, round or square. There are two brands of Straw Choppers which are imported from England: Teagle and Kidd, and have been manufacturing this type of machinery for a long time. Himac imports highly productive Forage Harvesters, the Roto Grind, from the USA and distributes them throughout Italy. These machines are able to quickly chop various types of products, from straw and hay to wood.

Roto
Grind
Roto Grind is able to offer results in forage cutting which are equal to the single-wagon Unifeed, without changing the following: animals' ingested dry feed, milk production, the percentage of fat, protein, casein, lactose and the number of somatic cells. This equipment therefore represents a significant innovation where standardising unifeed production is concerned, both in grain size as well as its chemical composition. This would therefore be a basis for good and stable rumen fermentation, an efficient feed conversion and a good state of health of the cows.
